Chinese PLA Navy team Visits Nigerian Naval headquarters to discuss Gulf of Guinea security

A six-member delegation from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, led by Senior Captain Li Zhaohui, Commander of the Chinese PLA Support Base in Djibouti, visited the Nigerian Naval Headquarters on Friday. The objective of the visit was to interface with the Nigerian Navy on current counter-piracy activities in the Gulf of Guinea, as well as to assess the regional security situation.
