The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered an illegal feed mill engaged in the production of unregistered poultry feed in Kaduna State.
During a recent enforcement operation, NAFDAC officials discovered 200 bags of Nurture Feeds Grower Mash and Nurture Feeds Layer Mash, each weighing 25 kilograms.
According to the agency, the products were not registered and did not meet regulatory standards for feed production. The seized items have been placed on hold pending the outcome of ongoing investigations.
NAFDAC reiterated its commitment to ensuring that only safe and properly registered products are manufactured and distributed in Nigeria’s agricultural and food sectors.
