Amnesty International has issues an unequivocal and resounding condemnation of the heinous act that transpired in Oriagu, Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, within Imo State.

The International Human Right Group urgently call on the Nigerian authorities to take immediate and decisive action.
“Amnesty International strongly condemns the horrific killing of 8 security personnel at Oriagu Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo state. The gruesome killing of the security personnel clearly shows utter disregard for the sanctity of life.
“The Nigerian authorities must initiate, and lead prompt, independent, impartial and effective investigations into the killing of the 8 security personnel with a view to bringing those suspected of criminal responsibility to justice,” the post read.
