The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has called on troops of the Joint Task Force North-East Operation HADIN KAI to redouble their efforts in eradicating terrorism in the North East.
According to Director, Army Public Relations Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, during a visit to the Headquarters Theatre Command in Maiduguri on Saturday, December 7, 2024, General Oluyede highlighted the importance of discipline and commitment in achieving operational objectives.
He emphasized his dedication to addressing the welfare and challenges of the troops to enhance their morale and effectiveness.
The Army Chief also visited the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital, where he sympathized with wounded soldiers and assured them of comprehensive medical care. Additionally, he inspected the construction progress of the 7 Division Headquarters Complex and ongoing maintenance of combat equipment.
