The Nigerian Army has dismissed a fake publication circulating on social media and other online platforms, which falsely claims that application for the 90 Regular Recruitment Intake has commenced.
In a statement signed by Captain AU Hammanga, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment. the Army described the publication as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard it. The military stressed that all genuine information on recruitment exercises is released only through its verified official platforms.
“The Nigerian Army maintains a clear and official procedure for announcing recruitment. Once the portal for the 90 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened, the public will be duly informed through official channels,” the statement read.
The Army reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in recruitment processes and cautioned Nigerians against falling victim to fraudsters.
