The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Borno State, Most Reverend, Dr. John Bogna Bakeni on Wednesday, 23 August 2023, paid a visit to the Theatre Command Headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno State.
During this visit, he met with Major General Gold Chibuisi, the Theatre Commander of Joint Task Force North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK).
During their meeting, the Chairman expressed his admiration for the unwavering dedication of the military in reestablishing peace and stability in the North East region. He explained that the purpose of his visit was to become acquainted with the new leadership of OPHK and to offer prayers in support of the ongoing military endeavours. As a spiritual leader, he assured the Theatre Commander of the association’s wholehearted commitment to offering divine intervention on behalf of the military.
In response, Major General Chibuisi extended his gratitude to the association for their resolute dedication and spiritual backing to OPHK. He reiterated the Theatre’s steadfast backing, collaborative efforts, and partnership aimed at facilitating the return of normalcy to the region.
