Controversial lawyer, Miss Ifunaya Excel Grant, has issued a response to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), asserting that she has never registered on X (formerly known as Twitter) and that she is not the individual associated with the account on X.
Miss Ifunaya gained abrupt prominence following the Nigerian Bar Association’s decision to address her. The NBA expressed its intention to lodge a complaint against Grant with the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee. This was in response to her alleged public display of smoking marijuana on social media and engaging in provocative behavior.
In a statement posted on Facebook, she conveyed her official stance to the NBA and the Nigerian public. Miss Ifunaya emphasized that she is not the individual active on Twitter, a platform she claims to have never used. She expressed her prolonged silence, explaining that she is not inclined to excessive speech. She has chosen this moment to break her silence and defend her reputation.
Addressing the Nigerian Bar Association, she asserted her non-involvement in any form of disruptive conduct. Describing herself as a model, actress, and musician, Miss Ifunaya shared that her focus is on living her life, tending to her pursuits, and realizing her dreams. She earnestly requested to be left undisturbed by the legal proceedings, urging the association to kindly respect her wishes.
