The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has reiterated his commitment to the welfare of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) personnel with the commissioning of nine newly renovated accommodation blocks at NAF Base Kano.
The project includes 30 Single Officers’ Quarters and 60 NCO Quarters, designed to enhance living conditions and boost morale among personnel. Emphasizing the importance of dignified housing, Air Marshal Abubakar stated that improved welfare is key to maintaining an effective force.

During his visit, he also inspected ongoing projects such as a state-of-the-art Trauma Centre, a world-class Vocational Centre, and additional residential units, aligning with NAF’s broader infrastructure and development strategy.
Expressing appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly for their continued support, the CAS reaffirmed NAF’s dedication to national security and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
