In a decisive move against cybercrime, the vigilant operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) struck a significant blow on March 1, 2024, apprehending seventeen individuals suspected of perpetrating internet fraud. This targeted operation unfolded in the Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, marking a firm stance against illicit online activities.
