The arrests were executed following meticulous surveillance and actionable intelligence pointing to their alleged involvement in internet-related offenses.

The five additional suspects, identified as Jeremiah Gabi, Dennis Gomina, Adepoju Noah Ibukun, Olabode Samson Opeyemi, and Adewumi Adeboye Ayomide, were also taken into custody during the operation.

Simultaneously, the Oyo State Police Command transferred three suspected internet fraudsters to the Ibadan Zonal Command of the EFCC on the same day. The trio was intercepted by the police during a routine patrol.

Upon thorough investigations conducted by the EFCC, it was determined that one of the three suspects, Joseph Isaac Justice, was not involved in internet fraud. Consequently, he was promptly released without any bail conditions. The remaining two suspects are identified as Ayoola Oluwatosin.

The seized items from the nine apprehended suspects include a Toyota Corolla car, an iPhone 11, two Samsung mobile phones, and other related paraphernalia.
