The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has charged newly graduated cadets of the Commission to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
Olukoyede gave the charge on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Passing-Out Parade of 404 cadets held at the Nigeria Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Akwanga, Nasarawa State. The graduating officers include 294 detective superintendents and 110 detective inspectors.
Addressing the cadets, Olukoyede reminded them that their new responsibilities as anti-graft operatives demand personal discipline, moral rectitude, and professionalism. He warned that the Commission has zero tolerance for corruption within its ranks.
“Being an operative of the EFCC carries heavy responsibilities of personal discipline, integrity, courage and accountability. The EFCC has zero tolerance for corruption and compromise. You are coming into an organisation that places a high premium on integrity and rectitude,” he said.

The EFCC boss stressed that integrity is not just a slogan but a guiding principle. “He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. You cannot offer the nation what you don’t have. Anti-corruption officers must be above board at all times,” he added, cautioning that sanctions for corrupt practices among EFCC officers are severe.
Olukoyede further highlighted the Commission’s heavy investment in the training of its officers, aimed at producing operatives with global law enforcement standards in intellect, agility, courage, and accountability.
The Reviewing Officer of the Parade and Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, congratulated the cadets for their resilience, describing their performance as a sign of hope for Nigeria’s future. He urged the National Assembly to consider creating a special anti-corruption court to strengthen EFCC’s mandate.
Also delivering goodwill messages were Senator Emmanuel Udende, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes, and Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, his House of Representatives counterpart.
Some cadets received special awards for outstanding performance. Amagiya Efe Princewill was named Overall Best in the Superintendent category, while Sanni Ayoola Blessing emerged Overall Best in the Inspector cadre.
