The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has distanced itself from the activities of Olakunle Alex Folarin, a dismissed staff member who recently appeared on a matchmaking programme hosted on Lege Miami’s social media platforms.
In a statement on Monday, the Commission explained that Folarin, formerly a driver at its Ibadan Zonal Directorate, was dismissed for certificate forgery. It added that his continued use of EFCC property, including an identity card, prompted the Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, to order his arrest.
The Commission emphasized that Folarin’s post-dismissal conduct should not be associated with the EFCC and cautioned the public against any such misrepresentation.
