Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan delivered a captivating lecture at Yale University on Wednesday, focusing on the theme ‘Democracy: Hope and Window to Africa’s Future.’ The distinguished event was organized in collaboration with the Maurice R. Green World Fellows Program of the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs.

 

During his two-day visit, Mr. Jonathan actively engaged with the 2023 World Fellows, fostering discussions with Yale students and faculty. Noteworthy was the former president’s expressed satisfaction in meeting Nigerian students, professors, and other professionals affiliated with the renowned Ivy League university, established in 1701.
