House of Reps applaud Chidimma Adetshina, Miss universe runner-up

The House of Representatives has congratulated Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina for her historic achievement as the first runner-up at the 73rd Miss Universe competition held in Mexico.

In a statement Spokesman, House of Representatives Rep. Akin Rotimi, Jr said the 23-year-old beauty queen’s journey, from representing Taraba State as Miss Universe Nigeria to being crowned Miss Universe Africa/Oceania, highlights her resilience, brilliance, and embodiment of Nigerian excellence.

Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu lauded her achievement, describing her as a beacon of hope and inspiration:
“Her perseverance and grace will inspire generations. We commend the Silverbird Group and all who supported her success. We celebrate this milestone and wish her greater accomplishments ahead.”
