He urged officers to prioritize transparency and professionalism, underlining that the integrity of the NPF is at stake if such misconduct is not promptly addressed.
Moreover, the IGP implored the public to remain vigilant and report any instances of attempted exploitation of his name for fraudulent activities or extortion, particularly in the context of ongoing investigations. He emphasized the vital role citizens play in collaborating with law enforcement to uphold ethical standards and combat corruption within the system.
Dr. Egbetokun reiterated the commitment of the Police Force under his leadership to root out misconduct and ensure accountability across all levels.
