In a strategic move to enhance security operations, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has redeployed CP Jimoh Moshood as the new Commissioner of Police for Lagos State.
According to Force Public Relations Officer Force Headquarters, Abuja ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, CP Moshood brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as CP Communications Ops at Force Headquarters, Force Public Relations Officer, and CP Eastern Port, Rivers State. His expertise in communications, administration, and public relations, combined with his operational background, positions him to effectively lead the Lagos State Police Command.
His appointment is expected to improve coordination among law enforcement units, strengthen community engagement, and uphold the highest standards of policing in the state.
The IGP has tasked CP Moshood with enforcing the rule of law, maintaining operational excellence, and implementing proactive security strategies to safeguard lives and property.
