The APC leaders of Kano North have expressed their admiration for Senator Barau I. Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, hailing him as a consummate representative and an exceptional leader.
Ismail Mudashir, the Assistant to the Deputy Senate Leaders on Media Affairs, conveyed that the people of the region conveyed this sentiment during their visit to Senator Jibrin’s office at the parliamentary campus in Abuja. The delegation, led by Honorable Sani Mukaddas, their leader, extended their gratitude for Senator Barau’s unwavering representation since 2015.
Mukaddas lauded Senator Barau’s continuous dedication and termed his performance as a representation of the highest caliber. He remarked, “The remarkable initiatives you have undertaken in Kano North’s local governments, which you diligently represent, underscore your distinction as a stellar representative.” Mukaddas went on to affirm that Senator Barau’s elevation to the position of deputy chairman of the Senate was met without surprise, asserting that his colleagues’ unwavering trust in him was evident. He declared, “The ease with which you ascended to the position of deputy chairman of the Senate signifies the confidence your peers have in your leadership. We stand steadfastly by your side, exhibiting full pride in your accomplishments. Your contributions are immeasurable to our community.”
The party leaders also commended Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State and leader of the APC national party, hailing from Kano North as well. Senator Barau, in his address, expressed his gratitude for the support rendered by the party leaders and affirmed, “I am resolute in my commitment to not let you down.” He also acknowledged the instrumental role played by the APC leaders in his constituency, which significantly contributed to the party’s triumph in the most recent election in the region.
