NAF airlifts medical relief to flood victims in Maiduguri

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has airlifted and donated 104 cartons of medical relief materials to flood victims in Maiduguri, Borno State, as part of its support for civil authorities.
On 29 September 2024, a NAF C-130 Hercules aircraft transported the medical supplies, which include essential medicines and consumables, to the region.

In a statement, Deputy Director, Public Relations and Information, NAF Group Captain Kabiru Ali said the Air Component Commander of Operation Hadin Kai (ACC OPHK) handed over the relief items to the Borno State Government. The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the recent flooding.

Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, Chief of the Air Staff, reaffirmed NAF’s commitment to supporting disaster relief efforts and ensuring the well-being of Nigerians in collaboration with other security agencies.
