NAF airstrike destroys IED factory, gun trucks in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under Operation HADIN KAI, has carried out a precision airstrike in Kwaltiri, within the Tumbuktu Triangle, Borno State, destroying a terrorist Improvised Explosive Device (IED) factory, several gun trucks, and eliminating dozens of insurgents.

The strike was executed following credible intelligence and surveillance that confirmed the presence of an active IED-making facility and armed vehicles. NAF aircraft engaged the targets in coordinated precision strikes, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorist group.

The operation dealt a significant blow to the insurgents’ logistics and command structures, effectively degrading their morale and operational capacity.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, stated that the success of the mission underscores the Air Force’s continued commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring peace in the North East.
