As news of the crash emerged, some outlets inaccurately reported that a helicopter had crashed without confirming the details with the NAF. This practice undermines the principles of developmental journalism, balanced reporting, and fairness.
Gabkwet urged media representatives to seek clarification from authorized military sources before releasing such reports.
