The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has recorded another major success in the nation’s counterterrorism campaign with a precision air interdiction mission that destroyed a major terrorist enclave at Arra in the Sambisa general area.
Confirming the report, the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, stated that the Air Force remains resolute in defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity and securing lasting peace for all citizens.

He said the strike, carried out on 19 November 2025 under the directive of the Chief of the Air Staff, followed days of sustained intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai. The ISR missions tracked hostile movements linked to the 17 October ambush on ground troops in Kashomri, revealing suspicious activity and fortified terrorist structures at Arra.
According to the NAF, its air assets executed coordinated, successive attacks on the identified targets, achieving complete destruction of the location and severely degrading the terrorists’ operational capabilities. The operation also disrupted command and logistics networks critical to the insurgents’ activities in the region.
The successful strike, officials said, reaffirms the NAF’s commitment to supporting ground forces, eliminating threats, and maintaining continuous pressure on terrorist elements across all theatres of operation.
