At the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit in Abuja, NNPC Ltd. highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of compressed natural gas (CNG) as a cleaner, cost-effective fuel.
The company encouraged stakeholders to capitalize on supportive government policies and invest across the entire CNG value chain to advance Nigeria’s transition to sustainable energy.
During the summit, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., Mr. Olufemi Soneye, represented by Mrs. Oluwakemi Olumuyiwa, Head of Relationship and Stakeholder Management, detailed NNPC’s ongoing efforts to establish CNG mother stations in pilot locations nationwide.
This initiative is designed to spur investment in gas-to-power, gas processing and distribution, liquefied natural gas (LNG), CNG, and petrochemicals, fostering accessible and affordable energy solutions.
