Troops of Forward Operating Base Anka under 1 Brigade of the Joint Task Force North West, in collaboration with the Zamfara State Community Protection Guard (ZSCPG) and local vigilantes, conducted a successful fighting patrol in Bambaran Village, Anka Local Government Area.
In a statement, Coordinator, Joint Media Coordination Centre Operation Fansan Yamma Lieut. Col. Abubakar Abdullahi said during the operation, two terrorists were neutralized, and weapons were recovered, including a PKT machine gun, one AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and three rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
This achievement highlights the effective synergy between the military and other security forces within Operation Fansan Yamma’s Theatre of Operations, dedicated to securing Zamfara State and the broader North West region.
