The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of its 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, initially scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025. The meeting will now take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
According to a statement signed by the PDP National Secretary, Rt. Hon. S.K.E Udeh Okoye, the decision to shift the meeting follows the need to conclude outstanding Zonal, State, Local Government, and Ward Congresses. It also aims to allow for further consultations to ensure the smooth conduct of the meeting and other planned party activities.
The NWC reached the decision after thorough consultations with key party leaders, stakeholders, and relevant organs, including the Board of Trustees (BoT), the PDP Governors’ Forum, and the PDP National Assembly Caucus.
NEC members are advised to take note of the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly. The NWC regrets any inconvenience caused by this change.
