The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has confirmed that the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) remains fully operational and continues to produce refined petroleum products to specification, despite a minor incident reported earlier today.
In an official statement released by Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd assured the public that the incident had no significant impact on the refinery’s operations or its ability to produce refined products. The company emphasized that all sections of the recently rehabilitated plant are functioning normally and that there is no cause for alarm.
“We wish to reassure the public that the Port Harcourt Refining Company remains fully operational. The minor incident that occurred earlier today has been swiftly contained, and production of on-spec refined petroleum products continues without interruption,” Soneye stated.
