The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested two suspects allegedly linked to the abduction of three newly graduated military recruits along the Anka–Bukuyum Road in Zamfara State.
The suspects, identified as Abubakar Mallan Abubakar of Gargam Village, Bagega, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State, and Usman Muhammadu of Ajera, Ilorin, Kwara State, were apprehended during an intelligence-led operation on August 1, 2026, at about 6:15 a.m.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bashir Usman, the arrests followed credible intelligence that led operatives to the suspects.
