In preparation for the upcoming 14th Biennial Games, the Nigeria Police Force is diligently organizing and coordinating various aspects of the event, slated to take place from the 25th of February to the 2nd of March 2024. This grand sporting occasion will unfold in the picturesque city of Ibadan, situated in Oyo State.
In a statement, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the official approval from the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, key figures within the police force, including the Force Sports Officer, CP Patrick Atayero, and heads of diverse committees, are set to gather in Ibadan from Friday, the 12th of January, to Sunday, the 14th of January 2024. Their agenda includes conducting meetings and assessing facilities in collaboration with the Oyo State Government’s team. The objective is to meticulously finalize arrangements, ensuring the seamless execution of this significant sports festival in Oyo State.
The preceding edition, the 13th Biennial Police Games, took place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, spanning from the 23rd to the 30th of November 2023.
