In a recent address during the Christmas holiday, President Bola Tinubu reassured the Nigerian populace of his unwavering commitment to fairness and equitable governance for all citizens.

According to his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President, currently on a brief holiday in Lagos, emphasized the steadfast dedication of his administration to fostering national unity and ensuring the well-being and prosperity of the people.

Delivering his remarks at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque in Surulere, Lagos, on Friday, President Tinubu highlighted the economic reforms initiated by his government, emphasizing their purpose in establishing a robust and secure foundation for both present and future generations of Nigerians.

The President, who participated in the Jumaat prayers commemorating the centennial anniversary of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADS), commended the Society for its invaluable service to humanity, contributions to the propagation of Islamic principles, and efforts in uplifting marginalized communities.

Encouraging members of the Society to persevere in their objectives of advancing education and promoting moral and social development within the Muslim Ummah, President Tinubu expressed gratitude for the Society’s support during the elections. He acknowledged their role as a motivating force for the government’s unwavering commitment to delivering good governance.

“I thank the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society for its support during the elections. I do not take it for granted; rather, the support serves as a stimulus for us in government to remain focused,” President Tinubu stated.

Reaffirming his dedication to the welfare of all citizens, the President highlighted recent measures such as the 50 percent reduction in inter-state land transportation fares and the clearance of backlog allowances for N-Power beneficiaries. He assured the public that these efforts were aimed at alleviating the burdens faced by Nigerians during the festive season, with additional initiatives expected in the coming year.

“We are committed to enthroning a better society for our citizens irrespective of ethnic, religious, or geographical differences. The various policies already in place are expected to bring great succor to our people. We know their pains, and we are addressing them holistically,” President Tinubu affirmed.

Reflecting on the milestone achieved by Ansar-Ud-Deen in reaching its centenary, the President praised the Society’s systematic strategy in maintaining its mission and vision, citing it as a testament to the achievements that focused planning can bring to society.
