Tinubu appoints Kemi Nandap as Comptroller-General Immigration Service

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) Kemi Nanna Nandap to assume the role of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), effective March 1, 2024.

DCG Nandap will succeed Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose tenure as Comptroller-General concludes on February 29, 2024. Prior to her elevation, Nandap served as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate within the Service.

President Tinubu expressed confidence that the incoming Comptroller-General will advance the ongoing reforms within the NIS, aiming to establish a robust framework for efficient and dedicated service delivery to Nigerians. Additionally, he expects Nandap to bolster national security by implementing proactive and effective measures for border security and migration management.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, confirmed the appointment.
