President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students—Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli—for their outstanding performance at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was named the overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya emerged as the top performer in debate, while Hadiza won the gold medal for outstanding talent.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised the trio for making the nation proud and described their achievements as a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s future.
“These young champions exemplify the excellence that resides in Nigeria’s youth. Their success is a testament to the quality of our education system and the potential it holds,” the President stated.
President Tinubu also acknowledged the role of educational institutions in nurturing such talent and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in education, including initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), designed to eliminate financial barriers for underprivileged students.
He encouraged the students to remain focused in their academic pursuits and wished them continued success.
