The election, held on the 4th day of September 2023, marked an essential step in the democratic process within the organization.
According to Deputy State Coordinator, Bayelsa East Sarah Evin, the tenure of the elected officials shall be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the provision of not serving more than two terms in the same position.
Prior to the election proceedings, the previous Executive Committee members were formally dissolved by the congress. The event commenced with an opening remark delivered by the immediate past State Coordinator, Mrs. Unity Ototo, setting the stage for the forthcoming electoral process.
