The induction ceremony for the newly elected SUG/SRA members took place on the main campus, where the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, administered the oath of office. During this event, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of integrity and urged the student representatives to strive toward enhancing the campus environment, leaving it in a better state than they found it.

The University of ABC operates a distinctive parliamentary model, in which 51 student representatives are democratically elected into the Student Representative Assembly (SRA) from various faculties and hostels. This electoral process occurs electronically through the university’s portal. Following this, the SRA members subsequently elect the principal officers and cabinet members to carry out vital roles within the student government.
