In his remarks, Prime Minister Chinh commended Nigeria’s warm reception and reiterated Vietnam’s interest in enhancing cooperation. He also formally extended an invitation for Tinubu to visit Vietnam.

Both leaders acknowledged the enduring diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Vietnam, established in 1976, and agreed to boost trade and collaboration in sustainable resource use and climate action.

During the summit, Prime Minister Chinh also met with WTO Director-General, Professor Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to discuss global trade and Africa’s economic development.
