The Federal Ministry of Education has launched a one-year strategic ministerial intervention to recruit Technical Facilitators for Federal Technical Colleges across the country, in a renewed push to reposition Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The initiative, aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is aimed at addressing Nigeria’s critical skills gap by engaging qualified, industry-oriented professionals to deliver modern, competency-based instruction.
In a statement Director of Press and Public Relations Ministry of Education, Folasade Boriowo said the recruitment drive targets experienced technical experts with strong pedagogical capacity to strengthen both practical and theoretical training in Federal Technical Colleges nationwide. The intervention, it added, forms part of broader reforms to improve the quality, relevance and responsiveness of technical education to evolving labour market demands.
According to the Ministry, interested applicants are required to complete the official online application form through its designated portal. All submissions will be subjected to a transparent, rigorous and merit-based evaluation process, with a clarification that submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
The application portal will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to revitalising Federal Technical Colleges as centres of excellence for skills development, innovation and workforce readiness.
