The Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Ahmad Nuhu Bamali, expressed his admiration for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on their unwavering commitment to combating economic and financial crimes in the country, despite the challenges they face. This commendation was given during a visit by a team from the Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC, led by Commander ACE.1 Aisha Abubakar, who paid a courtesy call to the emirate council on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
The Emir expressed his delight in receiving the EFCC team, as it provided the council with a deeper understanding of the Commission’s operations. He assured them of his support and willingness to collaborate further, in order to collectively combat the menace of economic and financial crimes that tarnishes the nation’s image.
His Royal Highness promised to cooperate fully with the EFCC, pledging that any instances of fraudulent activities within his domain would be promptly reported to the Commission for investigation. He recognized the significance of tackling corruption to build a strong and reputable nation.
In her remarks, Commander ACE.1 Aisha Abubakar explained that the purpose of their visit was to seek the emirate council’s support in disseminating the anti-corruption message to the grassroots. She emphasized that eradicating corruption from society would promote peace, unity, and security for all citizens.
