FG launches Nigeria House Davos ahead of WEF 2026

The Federal Government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled for January 19–23, 2026, in Davos, Switzerland.

In a statement Director, Information and Public Relations at State House Abiodun Oladunjoye said the initiative marks Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade and is designed as a strategic platform to showcase the country’s economic reforms, investment readiness, institutional capacity, and cultural identity on the global stage. It is aimed at strengthening foreign direct investment inflows, deepening strategic partnerships, and enhancing Nigeria’s global economic positioning in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Nigeria House Davos is being implemented through a Public–Private Partnership framework involving key ministries, including the Federal Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the private sector. Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd is serving as the lead coordinating and executing organisation, working in consortium with Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, alongside international technical partners.

According to the Presidency, the structure combines public-sector leadership with private-sector execution expertise to ensure a credible, professional, and impactful national presence at the global forum.

The platform will function as a sovereign convening space for ministerial engagements, high-level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment meetings, cultural diplomacy, and bilateral discussions. Its five-day programme will focus on key thematic areas including solid minerals and mining value chains; trade infrastructure and agriculture; climate investment, energy and environmental sustainability; digital trade and technology; the creative economy and cultural exports; as well as cross-sector convergence. Issues of finance, legislation, investment security, and investor assurance will cut across all discussions.

For decades, leading nations and global corporations have utilised national houses at Davos as tools of economic diplomacy and soft power. With the launch of Nigeria House Davos, the country joins this league, presenting its reform agenda from its own perspective and engaging global decision-makers directly.

The Presidency has called on public institutions, private sector leaders, development finance institutions, and international partners to participate actively to ensure a unified and impactful debut on the Davos Promenade.

Nigeria House Davos, the statement noted, reflects the country’s confidence, ambition, and readiness to engage the global economy with clarity, credibility, and purpose.
