In light of escalating security concerns along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, has initiated comprehensive measures to fortify safety and security in the region.

Recognizing the pivotal significance of securing this vital transportation artery, the IGP has deployed an increased number of police officers and advanced security resources. These efforts, incorporating cutting-edge technology and strategic planning, aim to enhance the overall security infrastructure along the expressway.
To ensure the effectiveness of these measures, the IGP has directed the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations, DIG Ede Ayuba Ekpeji, to meticulously supervise the personnel involved in the operations along the route. The proactive approach seeks to instill confidence in citizens and travelers, with the heightened presence of security forces acting as a deterrent to criminal activities.
