The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has bolstered its manpower and operational readiness with the graduation of 335 personnel from three of its key training institutions in Kaduna on 28 November 2025.
The graduates comprise 74 Higher National Diploma holders in Nursing Sciences from the Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS), 111 personnel who completed Basic Sundry Courses at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), and 150 officers trained under the Critical Assets Protection Squad Course at the Regiment Training Centre (RTC).
Representing the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Dari, commended the graduates for their dedication. He charged them to uphold the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and innovation as they assume new responsibilities within the Service.
AVM Dari conveyed the CAS’s message describing the new nurses as “guardians of health and hope,” the administrative personnel as “custodians of order and efficiency,” and the protection specialists as “a critical shield securing the NAF’s operational capabilities.” He reaffirmed the Service’s loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and emphasised that human capacity development remains central to the NAF’s drive for intelligence-led and accountable operations.
Earlier, the Commandant of NAFIAM, Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Yusuf, highlighted the rigorous training undertaken across the institutions, including lectures, simulations, field exercises, and professional assessments aimed at strengthening competence in administrative, medical, and security roles.
The ceremony was attended by senior military trainers, medical professionals, and representatives of key regulatory bodies, including the Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the National Board for Technical Education. The event also featured an oath-taking ceremony for NAFCONS nursing graduates and the unveiling of the maiden edition of Aero-Nurse Magazine, marking another step in the NAF’s ongoing investment in professionalism and operational excellence.
