NAF special forces neutralize notorious bandit Halilu Sububu, dozens of terrorists in Zamfara

In a decisive operation led by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Special Forces, notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu and over 38 terrorists were neutralized during a joint military engagement near Mayanchi, Zamfara State, on 12 September 2024.
According to Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information Nigerian Air Force Group Captain Kabiru Ali, the operation, part of the ongoing Operation HADARIN DAJI, was launched in collaboration with ground forces to exploit intelligence and secure the area after recent contact with hostile elements.

During the mission, NAF Special Forces and ground troops successfully eliminated 38 terrorists, with four bodies retrieved for verification. A substantial cache of weapons was also recovered, including two Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) tubes, an RPG bomb, three PKT machine guns, five AK-47 rifles, 29 magazines, and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

This operation highlights the precision and effectiveness of NAF Special Forces in leading critical missions aimed at neutralizing threats and safeguarding national security.
