The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Kano Operations Office, has received 263 Nigerian migrant returnees from Agadez and Niamey in the Niger Republic as part of ongoing efforts to ensure their safe and dignified repatriation.
The returnees arrived aboard Sky Mali Airline on Thursday, February 26, 2026, in two batches at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA). The first flight landed at approximately 12:50 p.m., while the second touched down around 3:50 p.m. local time.
