One hundred and fifty distressed Nigerians were repatriated from Chad through a voluntary repatriation exercise organized by the United Nations International Organization for Migration (UN IOM). The repatriates arrived on Air Cargo flight SU-BUR, which landed at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at approximately 20:30 hours.

The group comprised 23 males, 48 females, 71 children, and 8 infants. Many of the returnees expressed joy and relief upon their successful return to Nigeria.
Officials from various agencies, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Immigration Services, Nigeria Port Health Services, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and the Nigeria Refugee Commission, were on hand to receive the returnees.
