New leadership at Naval engineering services limited

Naval Engineering Services Limited (NESL) marked a significant leadership transition today as Rear Admiral Baratuaipri Iyalla officially handed over command to Rear Admiral Kohath Gyelpanyi Levi.

The handover ceremony, held at the NESL conference hall in Moloney, Lagos, symbolized the continuity of leadership within the organization, ensuring stability and sustained growth.

Rear Admiral Iyalla, who became NESL’s Managing Director on 27 February 2024, left a legacy of excellence, driving key partnerships with companies such as Regency International Overseas Limited, Infinity Paints Limited, and Prime Atlantic Global Engineering Services (PAGES). His tenure also introduced valuable training initiatives, including programs on commercial navigation and strategic marketing for the Nigerian Navy.

Rear Admiral Levi, the new MD/CEO, encouraged the team to continue their strong performance and pledged to build on the successes of his predecessor. Distinguished attendees included Rear Admiral A. Orederu, Admiral Superintendent of Naval Dockyard Limited; Major General B.U. Yahaya, Corps Commander HQ Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineering; Major General A.A. Adeyinka, Corps Commander HQ Nigerian Army Supply and Transport; and Commodore E.B. Sogbesan, Commander Fleet Support Group West.

Executives from Caverton Marine, Prime Atlantic Global Engineering Services Limited, Ghocome Services, Welmand, Regency International Overseas Limited, and Infinity Paints also graced the event, underscoring the importance of NESL’s commercial partnerships in its ongoing success.
