In a ceremony held at the national secretariat in Abuja, Hajiya Nafisa Shehu was inaugurated as the new President of the Road Safety Officers Wives Association (ROSOWA).
In a statement, Acting Corps Public Education Officer Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide said this transition follows the recent appointment of her husband, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, as the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Hajiya Nafisa succeeds Hajiya Aisha Biu, who was commended for her exceptional leadership. In her address, Hajiya Nafisa expressed her commitment to building on her predecessor’s legacy, fostering collaboration, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance unity among members. She also called for support from the association to ensure a successful tenure.
Hajiya Aisha Biu extended her gratitude to the association and encouraged members to support the new president. The ceremony, which marked a seamless transition of leadership, took place on Monday at the ROSOWA national secretariat.
