The Nigerian Army has launched an investigation into Brigadier General MA Sadiq, the immediate past Commander of 3 Brigade, Kano, following allegations of administrative discrepancies during his tenure. To ensure a thorough and unbiased investigation, Brigadier General Sadiq has been relieved of his command.
According to a statement by Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, the Nigerian Army remains committed to discipline, justice, and accountability, and maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct. The institution reassured the public that the investigation will be conducted with fairness and transparency, in line with established military procedures.
The Army reiterated its dedication to upholding its core values and promised that appropriate actions will follow based on the investigation’s findings.
