His Royal Highness Emere Emperor J. D. Nkpe II (JP), Paramount Ruler of Alesa-Eleme, commended the Nigerian Army for its unwavering commitment to peace and stability in the nation.

King Emere Nkpe II lauded the troops of the 6 Division for their role in curbing criminal activities in Alesa-Eleme, ensuring the safety and tranquility of its residents. He highlighted the sacrifices made by soldiers and urged the community to support and appreciate the security forces.

In a symbolic gesture of support, the King distributed stickers with messages promoting the Nigerian Army’s efforts against terrorism and criminality. He called on Nigerians to reject ethnic and religious divisions and to show unity and support for security personnel.

Major General Abdussalam expressed gratitude for the King’s continuous support, attributing the reduction in criminal activities such as illegal oil bunkering, kidnapping, and cultism in the South-South region to the collaborative efforts of the Nigerian Army and local communities. The visit featured cultural performances, presentations of souvenirs, and group photographs, symbolizing the strong bond between the military and the Alesa-Eleme community.
