The United Nations Country Team, led by Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator Mohamed Malick Fall, has commenced a two-day retreat to re-strategize and develop a roadmap to bolster its support for Nigeria.
“Nigeria is facing a myriad of challenges, but opportunities abound. The United Nations in Nigeria is committed to pooling its resources and assets together, as always, to support the Nigerian Government in achieving the Agenda 2030 for the betterment of the people,” Fall stated.
Discussions focused on prioritizing transition pathways to accelerate the SDGs, job creation, social protection, and energy transition.
