The University of Ilorin Alumni Association has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing three of its distinguished members to leadership positions in Nigeria.
The appointees include Comptroller General of Immigration, Mrs. Kemi Nandap, whose tenure has been extended until December 2026; Non-Executive Director of NNPC (North Central), Mr. Babs Omotowa; and the Pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti, Prof. James A. Aribisala.
In a congratulatory message, National President Prof. AbdulRasaq Kilani and National Secretary Dr. Barakat Raji expressed the Association’s excitement over the appointments. They lauded President Tinubu for selecting outstanding individuals and assured him of their capability to meet national expectations.
The Association urged the appointees to uphold the university’s “Better by Far” ethos and excel in their respective roles. It also pledged continued support and prayed for their successful tenures while encouraging collaboration towards national development.
