President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced on Tuesday in Abuja that Nigeria achieved its 2025 revenue target as early as August, attributing the milestone to ongoing economic reforms and the growth of the non-oil sector.
The President outlined ongoing priorities under the Renewed Hope Agenda, including infrastructure development, improved healthcare, agricultural mechanisation, food sovereignty, and national security. He revealed plans to establish mechanisation centres across the country to boost capacity, cultivation, and harvest, while training youths to drive food security.
Reflecting on his political journey with the CPC, President Tinubu pledged to honour the legacy of former President Muhammadu Buhari, including plans to establish a Buhari House. He assured that more CPC members would be integrated into his administration.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, commended the President’s inclusiveness and support for Katsina State. Al-Makura, on behalf of the delegation, reaffirmed their loyalty and pledged continued support for the success of Tinubu’s administration and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
