HomeHunt International has officially launched its Abuja branch, bringing innovative solutions to Nigeria’s real estate and renewable energy sectors. Previously established in Lagos, the company aims to enhance access to sustainable housing and clean energy, particularly through its solar-powered products.
Speaking at the unveiling, Mr. Olayinka Aroyenu, Executive Officer of HomeHunt International, said the company specializes in solar systems powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are safer and more environmentally friendly than conventional lead or gel batteries.
“Lithium-ion batteries are compact, non-corrosive, and durable,” he said. “Unlike gel or lead batteries, they pose no harm to users, especially children, and are better suited for long-term use.”
To make its products more accessible, Aroyenu revealed that HomeHunt is working with banks and financial institutions to offer low-interest installment payment options, easing the burden of initial purchase costs for solar systems.
“Once you buy a solar product, you don’t need to spend on fuel or oil again,” he said. “We are committed to making this technology affordable for Nigerians.”
On the real estate front, Aroyenu announced the launch of the company’s proprietary digital platform—the Home Hunt App—designed to provide a secure and transparent online marketplace for property transactions. The app allows users to buy or sell land and homes while ensuring funds are protected.
“We’ve partnered with Brent Mortgage Bank in Lagos to hold buyers’ funds in trust until transactions are verified,” he explained. “Our legal partners, Pave Stone & Ikoyi, handle document authentication, reducing fraud and increasing investor confidence—especially for Nigerians in the diaspora.”
Aroyenu emphasized that trust is the biggest barrier in Nigeria’s real estate market and that HomeHunt’s model is aimed at restoring credibility to attract both local and international investors.
With its Abuja expansion, HomeHunt International is poised to redefine housing and energy solutions by blending digital innovation, customer protection, and green technology.
