Sunday Reflection: Nothing Is Impossible When God Chooses To Act, By Dr. Mike Udam

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me?” – Jeremiah 32:27

When God Moves, Nothing Can Stand in His Way

Life has a way of testing our faith. At some point, we all face circumstances that seem hopeless—prolonged illness, financial pressure, strained relationships, spiritual dryness, or dreams that feel too far gone. These moments can feel overwhelming, leaving us wondering if help will ever come. Yet, in the midst of such trials, God poses the same question He asked the prophet Jeremiah thousands of years ago:

“Is there anything too hard for me?”

This is not just a scriptural quotation—it is a divine challenge to our doubts. The answer is a resounding no. But while nothing is too hard for God, we must understand: He acts according to His will, not our preferences. When He chooses to move, His power knows no resistance—no man, no demon, no circumstance can withstand Him.

Ten Biblical Proofs That Nothing is Too Hard for God

  1. Creation: Order from Nothing (Genesis 1:1–3)

God spoke the universe into existence. From nothing, He created everything. If He can create galaxies, He can restore your broken world.

Declare: “If God speaks, it must come to pass.”

  1. Sarah’s Miracle Child (Genesis 18:9–14)

Sarah conceived Isaac at ninety. God asked: “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” He still resurrects lifeless dreams.

Believe: “God’s promise overrides impossibility.”

  1. The Red Sea Road (Exodus 14:13–16)

Cornered by Pharaoh’s army, Israel saw the sea split before them. God makes a way when there seems to be none.

Proclaim: “God creates paths in impossible places.”

  1. Jericho’s fall (Joshua 6:1–20)

Walls collapsed not by force, but obedience. God rewards trust, not logic.

Remind Yourself: “Obedience brings down walls.”

  1. Gideon’s 300 Soldiers (Judges 7:2–22)

God reduced Gideon’s army to 300 to ensure no one could take credit. Victory belongs to Him.

Say: “My little becomes mighty in God’s hands.”

  1. David Slays Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45–50)

With a sling and faith, David conquered a giant. Your giants are never bigger than your God.

Affirm: “My God is greater than any obstacle.”

  1. Fire on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18:36–39)

Elijah prayed, and fire consumed the drenched altar. God answers boldly.

Declare: “The God who answers by fire is still my God.”

  1. Virgin Birth (Luke 1:30–37)

Mary, a virgin, bore the Savior. Divine power defies human logic.

Proclaim: “With God, nothing is impossible.”

  1. Feeding the 5,000 (John 6:5–13)

Five loaves and two fish fed thousands. God multiplies what we surrender to Him.

Confess: “My lack is no barrier to God’s abundance.”

  1. Resurrection of Jesus (Matthew 28:5–6; Romans 8:11)

Jesus rose from the dead—proof that God holds the final say over life and death.

Celebrate: “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.”

The Key: Obedience Activates the Impossible

“And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” – 1 John 3:22

The power of God is available, but it is often unlocked through obedience and reverence. Too many want God’s miracles without God’s lordship. Scripture makes it clear: we must walk in what pleases Him if we expect to experience what comes from Him.

Do you want to see God move powerfully in your life?

Then: Walk in righteousness, Trust Him fully, Surrender your impossibilities and Wait on Him patiently

Final Thoughts: Bring It All to Him

Whatever is weighing you down today, know this: God is able. No situation is too far gone. No life is too broken. No dream is too dead.

When God chooses to act, the miraculous becomes the new reality.

So trust Him. Obey Him. And watch Him do what only He can do.
